In the third quarter of 2025, the art and design app category in Europe experienced notable trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps performed on the unified platform.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor showed a robust performance, particularly in weekly revenue, which peaked at around $2M by the end of September. This app also saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 474K in early July and reaching about 685K by the end of the quarter. Active users exhibited a steady increase, culminating in nearly 14.9M.

ibis Paint X maintained a stable revenue flow, ending the quarter at about $14.5K. The app's downloads experienced a dip mid-quarter but recovered to approximately 194K in the final week of September. Active users fluctuated, starting at 13.5M and closing at around 13.9M.

Future Self Face Aging Changer witnessed an interesting pattern in downloads, which surged to over 122K in late September after a mid-quarter decline. The app's active users also followed an upward trajectory, peaking at about 960K.
